How does Coaching work?
Coaching is a series of
One-on-One communications between Client and Coach. These can be in the
form of face-to-face meetings, telephone conversations or emails.
During each session, you will be encouraged to devise a number of
specific tasks to form an Action Plan. You agree to complete these
tasks between sessions. (This sense of accountability is very effective
in achieving your goals.)
Note: Each action will be CHOSEN by YOU. As your
Coach, I may offer suggestions, challenge your rationale and perhaps
question the effectiveness of the proposed action. But I will do so in
a supportive and non-judgemental manner.
What areas can I be
coached in?
Some coaches specialise in business development, others deal
only with financial issues.
I tend to take an "all-round" approach:- If things aren't good at home,
the chances are that manifests itself at work. Similarly, if things
aren't great at work, that too will show up at home.
Together we will work to determine what is, FOR YOU, a healthy Work /
Life Balance.
How long does each
session last?
A session lasts for 1 hour.
How many sessions
will I need?
You can determine a fixed number of sessions, or you can
choose a casual session on an as-required basis. If you decide to
commit to specific goals, it is a good idea to allocate sufficient time
to ensure that you achieve them.
How much does it cost?
Single ad-hoc sessions cost $100 plus GST.
Longer-term programs attract significant savings.
What's this about a
guarantee?
They say that the only guarantees on the planet are death and
taxes. Coaching works for the following reason:-

components, and to determine effective actions. Your part is to carry
them out.
